Grace Uther and Sam Uther are screenwriters, directors and producers based in Meanjin / Brisbane, Australia.

They are currently developing an exciting and diverse slate of original film and tv projects. Three of their projects have attracted development support from Screen Queensland - a crime-thriller series, an action-comedy series, and an animated adventure feature. Together, Sam and Grace were shortlisted for the Australian Writers' Guild Monte Miller Award, and inducted into the AWG's Pathways Showcase. They love action-packed, cinematic storytelling with dynamic characters in heightened situations; and have produced engaging short films which have enjoyed international festival success.

Their proof of concept short film THEY KILL BY NIGHT, produced with support from Creative Australia through the Australian Cultural Fund, is currently screening at festivals internationally.
